I am so sad to hear about Whitney, it's hard to believe. My heart truly bleeds for her daughter, Bobbin Kristina, her mother, Cissy Houston, Bobby Brown, and the rest of her family. My prayers are with them. I am in total shock, as I'm sure everyone is. RIP Whitney Houston. I just can't believe this.

So sad. One of my favorite memories of her is all the times as a kid that I watched Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella- she was gorgeous as the Fairy Godmother.

I haven't heard anything about Whitney lately but I'm a little surprised that the news media, on CNN at least, is assuming that drugs were involved in her death. They keep saying that drugs is a high probability, but we really don't know ANYTHING about what caused her death so why can't they shut up until we know something concrete??? Jeez, why don't we give Whitney the benefit of the doubt that she has been clean and healthy lately? Maybe her body was damaged and weakened from her past but she could have died from heart attack for all we know, and not have touched drugs for a long time.

Dr. Drew is reporting that CPR was only tried for 20 minutes and was stopped, at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, where her body still is. He says this probably means she was clearly gone for some time because she wasn't immediately transported to a hospital with CPR the whole way. I wonder how those decisions are made. A lot of people speculate that Michael was gone for a long time before the paramedics were called, but they kept resuscitation efforts going and took him to the hospital. I'm not saying they should have kept going with Whitney, I just wonder how they decide to do what they end up doing.
